Social Arts 102 is a series of five monthly hour-and-fifteen-minute lessons that teach and give the opportunity to practice social skills and dances. This class is meant to follow Social Arts 101 or it equivalent at another school. Building on the basics, the lessons look to the future of young adult life. The five lessons are:
Lesson 1: Review, next steps and practice of: introductions; use of please, thank you and pleasantries; managing the right of way in public spaces and when to stand; practice of basic social dance repertory (Box Step, Merengue, Swing, Waltz and Cha-Cha).
Lesson: 2: Review, next steps and practice of: dining skills including the buffet and specific difficult foods; dressing for life and events; and practice of basic social dance repertory.
Lesson 3: Entrepreneurship, internships and employment: interviewing skills, resume writing, on-line tools and social media; and small businesses development. Following and leading in social dances, Lindy Hop and the addition of turns to the Box Step.
Lesson 4: Managing Emergencies and the addition of turns to the Latin dances of Merengue and Cha-Cha.
Lesson 5: Hosting and attending private events, attending public events and turning and traveling with the Waltz.

All lessons are chaperoned by both adults and SAA Peer Chaperons. All SAA events are screen free.
