Social Arts 101 is a series of five monthly hour-and-fifteen-minute lessons that teach and give the opportunity to practice basic social skills and dances. The five lessons are:
Lesson 1: why manners are important; how to introduce yourself; when to say “please,” “thank you” and “your are welcome”; and the Box Step
Lesson: 2: how to introduce others; when to stand; where to walk; and the Merengue
Lesson 3: dressing for events; being a good guest; how to manage a buffet; and the Swing
Lesson 4: dining skills; and the Waltz
Lesson 5: writing thank you notes; phone etiquette; using electronic communication; and the Cha-Cha
Please know that the content of these lessons is subject to change without notice. Students who miss a lesson, are welcome to make-up that same lesson during the next session of the class.
